Enhanced Windshields
Some vehicles require a NC Quick Pass Exterior transponder. Certain vehicles have windshields that prevent other types of transponders from being read properly. These windshields can include:
- Metallic/insulated/heated glass
- Solar/infrared reflective glass
- Automatic sensing wipers
- Low E glass or Night View Assist
Vehicles with any of the above will need to use the NC Quick Pass Exterior transponder.
