NC Only Accounts 101

A new NC Only account is offered by NC Quick Pass and does not require a transponder. The new NC Only account is best for drivers who only plan to travel on toll facilities in North Carolina and have less than 10 cars. The new NC Only account cannot be used to pay for tolls in other states. In North Carolina, NC Only account holders pay the lowest toll, saving 35%.   

Two big differences, one, no transponder is required. Two, the new NC Only account is only valid in North Carolina and cannot be used to pay for tolls in other states.  

With either type of account, you pay the lowest toll rate in North Carolina saving 35% on tolls. Each account now requires a prepaid balance of just $10. NC Quick Pass wants to make sure we match your lifestyle and give you less to worry about. NC Quick Pass account holders’ minimum balance requirement will now be adjusted monthly instead of quarterly.
