Specialty Account Options
NC Quick Pass offers multiple specialty accounts. Find out if a specialty account is right for you.
HOV only account
- Free
- HOV only accounts must use the NC Quick Pass Sticker and set HOV status with three or more people in the vehicle with the NC Quick Pass app 15 minutes before travel.
- HOV only accounts can only use the NC Quick Pass Sticker for HOV travel in the I-77 Express Lanes.
- HOV only accounts cannot be used to pay tolls anywhere and is restricted to one vehicle per account.
First responder account
- Free
- First responder vehicles with an account and properly installed NC Quick Pass First Responder sticker qualify for free travel on North Carolina toll roads while responding to emergencies for law enforcement, fire, rescue and medical services.
- First responder accounts must use the NC Quick Pass First Responder Sticker in a vehicle registered to the agency applying for the account.
- First responders must fill out the first responder application and submit the form online. NC Quick Pass contact you to complete the sign up process.
Transit/Government account
- Free
- Transit vehicles with an account and properly installed NC Quick Pass Transit sticker qualify for free travel in the I-77 Express Lanes.
- Transit accounts must use the Transit sticker in a vehicle registered to the agency applying for the account.
- Transit agencies can fill out the transit application and submit the form online. NC Quick Pass will contact you to complete the sign up process.
